Kelly Walsh & Cameron Greenlee
recently produced a Holiday Album in their community of Block Island, RI. Along with fellow BI-based musicians and students at the Block Island School, this album will benefit a scholarship fund administered by ConserFest. This project illustrates the love and care residents of this tiny island community have for their land and their people.
Block Island is in New England off the coast of Rhode Island. The musical artists recorded these holiday songs as a way to give back to their island through conservation, preservation and education.
All proceeds from the sales of this album go directly to the annual ConserFest scholarship fund.
This scholarship helps fund educational opportunities for Block Island school students who foster a life-long love of learning, particularly through the lens of conservation and environmental science. The scholarship is awarded to recipients every Spring at the Block Island School commencement ceremony. This album was recorded entirely by Block Island-based musicians.
